HRV and Menstrual Cycle

You may be wondering how your menstrual cycle may affect your HRV over the course of the month.

HRV is affected by a great many changes in the body, so it can take some time to build up your HRV baseline to the point that you would be able to decipher hormonal changes in HRV from others.

HRV is an extremely individual measurement, so we'd recommend building your HRV baseline, and using the custom tagging feature to notate your menstrual cycle.

Over the long term, you may see trends emerge. You'll also want to use the custom and regular tagging feature so other factors and events (like sleep, exercise, and external stressors) so your trends are not convoluted.
