What Sample Rate is Required for HRV Measurements?

Sample rate refers to the number of times per second a heart rate monitor will "sample" the signal for RR beats. 

The app does not have a set sample rate; the app takes the sample rate and any RR intervals sent from the sensor that you are using.

For HRV accuracy, the minimum sample rate is 250Hz or 250 samples per second. If you are comparing device sample rates, for reference, our CorSense has a 500Hz sample rate.
